Kinzua Dam is a wonderful place for recreation of all kinds. The dam
creates a reservoir that is great in the summer for boating, tubing, jet skiing,
fishing, and swimming.
All around the reservoir is the Allegheny National Forest, which is perfect for
outdoor recreation year round. In the summer their is great camping (which can be as remote as you
like), biking, picnics, and the reservoir . Not to
mention great places for hikes such as Jake's Rocks and Rimrock. In the
fall the leaves change to vibrant colors and the hills are beautiful. The
winter is perfect for cross country skiing, and snowmobiling. And, of
course, all seasons are wonderful for the forest's many great trails.
